Jan Brewer: Birther Issue Leading Country 'Down A Path Of Destruction'
Source: Huffington Post

PHOENIX -- Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer says the so-called "birther" issue is a potentially destructive issue for the country.

Brewer was interviewed on CNN on Monday about her decision a week ago to veto an Arizona bill that would have required President Barack Obama and other presidential candidates to prove their natural-born citizenship.

Brewer reiterated her veto explanation that the bill was poorly drafted. She also said she believes there's no question that it was directed at Obama though it's clear he was born in Hawaii.

She told CNN interviewer John King that the birther issue is leading the nation "down a path of destruction." . . .

Well, Jan Brewer's political career is now officially over. You don't criticize the Birthers and remain a viable Republican. They turn on anyone who questions them like jackals - Ann Coulter, Mark Levin, doesn't matter - and cozy up to an assclown like Trump just because he throws them a bone.

It isn't the country headed for destruction, it's the GOP - and good riddance.

1. I think she meant down a path of GOP destruction.
And she's at fault too because she's crazy.

2. she's really an "accidental" Governor, anyway...
Having just gotten elected (she assumed the final years of Napolitano's term from her elected position as SOS), I tend to doubt she has any aspirations four years from now.

5. Not really "accidental".
Obama and Napolitano made her governor in 2009. She was in the line of succession.

6. I mean "accidental" from the standpoint she never campaigned
or otherwise went for the spot.... I doubt, when she became SOS, she had any thoughts of ever assuming the governorship. Right place, right time, pretty much makes it "accidental."

10. Yeah. They handed it to her. She did win the recent election, though.
Terry Goddard put up a good fight.

11. Nope. She's just figuring out that the teabags are overreaching.
but she will still pass tons of stupid shit because the gang in Pheonix is thinking that "WE THE PEOPLE" hate government.

I don't know, but would you hire people who hate your company to run your company? I don't think they would be my first choice.

14. Freeper Conspiracy Theorists to the Rescue!

One of the cutest things I saw the other night was that one of them opined that since Brewer was AZ SoS in 2008, she had certified Obama for the presidential ballot. Hence, if the usurpuratin' Kenyan was revealed, then so would her complicity.

In other words, as all conspiracy theorists know, when someone denies your conspiracy, it is usually a sign that they are in on the conspiracy itself.

She is absolutely right about conspiracy theories being destructive, though.
