Rudy Giuliani says Mitt Romney made a "terrible mistake" with Massachusetts health care plan

Source: NY Daily News

Rudy Giuliani demanded that Mitt Romney apologize for his Massachusetts health care plan during a visit to New Hampshire on Friday.

The former mayor of New York said that Romney made a "terrible mistake" in requiring residents to purchase health care when he signed the plan into law five years ago, the New Hampshire Union Leader reports.

" can't talk his way out of this," Giuliani said. "If you create a state or a federal government that can give orders like that, you're taking away people's freedom, and I think Gov. Romney should be more sensitive to that."

Giuliani also blamed the former Massachusetts governor for providing the model for President Barack Obama's national health care plan. He said that Romney must admit the plan's failures in order to avoid hurting the Republican Party.

So, just a guess that Rudy won't be endorsing Mittens after his own campaign craters...

2. Mitt deserves it but he could respond in kind by saying that he will apologize for RomneyCare when
Giuliani apologizes for Bernie Kerik.

3. Romney must admit the plan's failure? It's kind of a success, no?
Only the mentally unstable do not want health insurance.

5. I thought so, thanks. When Romney says it's not good for the rest of the country...
he has to explain why the rest of the country doesn't deserve to have 90% coverage. It's foolishness.

6. I live in MA, and I broke my leg in September
Then my ex's health insurance stopped covering me at the end of the year after the divorce. I needed surgery and couldn't have had it as I lost half my income, but I got the surgery and physical therapy I needed and now I'm back to work and will be paying premiums soon. Thanks, Mitt.
