Does anyone know whether this is valid? The link is CNSNews.com. The topic sentence for the article is below:

"Kerry 'Unfit to be Commander-in-Chief', Ex-Colleagues Say
(CNSNews.com) - Hundreds of former commanders and military colleagues of Democrat John F. Kerry are set to declare in a signed letter that he is "unfit to be commander-in-chief." They will do so at a press conference in Washington on Tuesday."

Is there really going to be a press conference on Tuesday as described in the topic sentence?

The site is, apparently, a conservative news organization. I am not familiar with it. But if the substance is correct, it is really getting nasty out there.

Now that you see it is a conservative rag, and there are still plenty of questions as to validity of the report, I was wondering why it is that you continue to start new threads? I see that you are fairly new to posting at DU. Welcome! We generally try to create only one thread per topic...especially from the same poster.

Creating multiple threads makes it impossible for a new visitor to see all of the previous discussion on a topic. I suggest you stick with the original thread and continue the discussion there.

One more thing. Creating multiple threads as a newcomer also kinda makes it look like you are just trying to 'hype' the controversy of this subject, rather than explore a balanced discourse. I'm sure you don't want to create this aura.

PS - In my opinion, inflamatory pieces printed by biased publishers about events that cannot be corroborated and 'facts' that have no substance or proof (who are these military people?) do not belong in LBN...especially from a right wing tabloid.
