7. That is such a scary thought, and likely...
Saudi Arabia is so screwed up. They have promoted Wahabism for so long that they have a large number of fundies. Add that to the corruption and opulance of the House of Saud and the declining ability of oil money to provide the welfare state that was promised and you get a very unstable position.

If the House of Saud were to fall that would be very bad. If the House of Saud were to fall with Bush in the White House, that could be cataclysmic.

What happens if Bandar goes to Bush and says, "You must help me my friend." You know Shrub will go off all half cocked and order the Army into Saudi Arabia to take it back for the House of Saud.

Hell, he may send the Army straight into Mecca. Ohhhh that will go over well.

I gotta stop.

3. Snippet from link,...
The comments were heard on a tape obtained by CNN from the Middle East Media Research Institute, a U.S.-based group which monitors Arabic and Persian language media in the region, translating and publicizing many anti-Israeli and anti-Semitic items.

The group says this meeting was televised on Saudi state-run television.

CNN independently verified the translation of the crown prince's comments.

"I don't say, I mean -- It is not 100 percent, but 95 percent -- that the Zionist hands are behind what happened," said Prince Abdullah.

5. This could be interpreted several ways
The first statement may just be the "push the causality" back argument - "Zionism is behind it" because the attack would not have happened if Israel had not been created. The second statement seems to be a more direct statement that "Zionist hands" somehow were behind the attack, as if he is implying some kind of false flag operation. But even that statement is fairly equivocal. And in the statement that "they have seduced our sons", it is not clear who he means by "they".

So it is hard to tell what to make of it - probably just trying to pass the buck, and not own up to internal dissent.

"You all know who is behind it all ... Zionism is behind it," said the crown prince."
...
"I don't say, I mean -- It is not 100 percent, but 95 percent -- that the Zionist hands are behind what happened," said Prince Abdullah."

"On this tape, the crown prince does not mention Saturday's attack by name and he does not suggest that Israelis specifically -- or supporters of Israel -- plotted or carried out any of the recent attacks in Saudi Arabia.

"Unfortunately, they have seduced some of our sons ... What can we possibly do? They are our sons. They have been seduced, and they fell for it," said the crown prince."

8. Believe me, their intelligence is better than our. If it had been Al-qaed
they would have been more than delighted to say so. They hate Al-qaeda as they are their target.

This story will not get much play here and there will be all kinds of flaming about it. But I believe it. Just as I believe that the bombing of the UN facility in Iraq was the work of Mossad. Remember, Al-qaeds said they didn't do it. There have been all sorts of black-bag jobs by Mossad for which the Arabs were blamed. A favorite tactic is to call in the name of some Jihad group that has never been heard of before.
