Bush says democratic accusations about the war are pure politics
Crawford, Texas-AP

President Bush says Democratic accusations that the administration misled the American people about going to war with Iraq are "pure politics."

Bush says the American people know the decision came from sound intelligence, and that the U-S continues to make progress in Iraq. He says a free Iraq is essential to the war on terror.Bush told reporters in Texas today that the "political noise" is going to get worse as time goes on. ---

6. Then how does one redress grievances in a democracy?
- This is an amazing double standard the media refuses to report. Congress has the Constitutional duty to maintain checks and balances over the executive branch. Suggesting that our representatives are 'playing politics' when they do what the people hired them to do is little more than a political hit job on representative government.

- It's too bad the media allows the Chief Banana Republican to get away with this anti-Democratic rhetoric. Bush* still thinks he's back in texas bullying and intimidating the locals into cooperation and silence. It's Boss Tweed reborn.
