BBC: Tory spokesman backing Democrat
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/politics/3749401.stm

Tory Alan Duncan has said he is prepared to work for the Democrat campaign of John Kerry to prevent a second Bush term in the White House.

Mr Duncan has said he feels that Neo-Conservatives such as defense secretary Mr Rumsfeld are making the world a "more dangerous place" because of the way they are dealing with the threat from international terrorism.

Remember when Kerry said foreign leaders were encouraging him in private and the GOP demanded he prove it? Here ya' go.

1. So, if the Bush administration is still interested...
...in finding out who some of the Europeans are who want Kerry to win they can just read this article. Take that.

Watch their brains melt down when they try to process this contrary information. It will be like Captain Kirk matching wits with Nomad: "Faulty, faulty...must sterilize".
edit: cannot spell foreigners, oh well, they aren't Americans anyway.

4. Ye Olde Log Castle
For what it's worth, Duncan has libertarian leanings and is openly homosexual.

7. Interesting.
The Labor Party is captured by right-wingers who've taken the "third way" to its obvious conclusion. The Conservatives--or a part of them--are part of the vast portion of the political spectrum that see that neo-conservatism is a danger. Who would have thought? I'm sure that Thatcher backs the bloodshed however.

9. he's doing it for
the same reason Dems mention McCain. To sound more moderate, and make their electorate happy. It just gives them a little edge against Tony Blair.
