|
In foreign policy and national security? No one else in the current Dem field comes close to Biden in this respect, except maybe Kerry. Biden can also talk convincingly on a number of complex subjects without having to periodically apologize.

I would certainly support Biden if he were to be the nominee because '04 is all about getting rid of Bushco.
But I am not sorry that he is out of the race. Ever since the Anita Hill-Clarence Thomas hearings, Biden has been one of my least favorite Dems.

He's quite young (only 61) and he's already the fifth highest ranking senator on our side of the aisle (after Byrd, Kennedy, Inouye, and Hollings). With all of them likely to retire within the next decade, he could become President Pro Tempore.
