EDMONDS, Wash. -- Police have issued a warning for local real estate agents after a female agent was sexually assaulted during an open house.

Detectives are investigating whether the incident, at an open house in Edmonds, is connected with similar cases on the Eastside.

In the Edmonds case, a man walked into an open house last Saturday, acting at first as if he was interested in buying the home. Then he grabbed the female agent showing the home and sexually assaulted her.

When he lunged a second time, she screamed and he left.

The manual gives agents tools to help prevent similar attacks.

1. Isn't that how Kevin Coe attacked his victims in Spokane years ago?

3. I saw that warning today too
by a wierd coincidence, I bought a bunch of paperback books at a thrift store today and one of them was the book written about the Seattle attacks. It's called Predator. I think too creepy to read right now.

4. That's the one...

I think. What's interesting about that one is that a quarter of the book is that a laege part of it talks about this one guy that gets charged and found guilty and he just loudly declares his guilt and spends all his money trying to defend himself and then dies after he is found guilty and in prison - come to find out, he was the wrong guy.

A very very sad and depressing book actually - if it IS the one I'm thinking of,

5. Same thing happened to my realtor in TX about 8 yrs ago.
We became good friends and she told me about this same thing happening to her and another female realtor while showing a house in Texas, near San Antonio. It's good to issue a warning, but all realtors know about this risk.

Similar thinkg also happened here in Ga. about a year ago and the realtors were killd.

There are always some evil people looking for opportunities.
