CIA Chief Bids Farewell to Agency After 7 Years
George Tenet gave his farewell speech to the CIA today.

3. It won't matter...the CIA rank and file will run circles around him....
He'll find out that cooperation with an outsider will only go so far.

2. Still trying to blame Tenet and the CIA for the failures of other people..
...and organizations. Amazing.

And how insulting it must for Tenet to have to listen to Rummy give a speech...the man who tried to make the CIA subservient to the Pentagon, and when that failed, he created the OSP.

The last quote from Tenet was pretty interesting:

"He also gave his work force some advice. 'If people want to take us back in the wrong direction -- then it is your voices that must be raised to say -- we know better and we will not stand for it.'"

That doesn't sound like idle chatter, does it?
