Iraq Says Zarqawi Likely Seeking WMD Materials
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=578&ncid=578&e=2&u=/nm/20040711/ts_nm/iraq_weapons_dc

By Edmund Blair

>snip>

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Iraq (news - web sites)'s national security adviser said Sunday unconventional weapons material might have gone to neighboring states in the war and Jordanian militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi is probably trying to get some.

Mowaffaq al-Rubaie also said the Iraqi interim government had approved the transfer of all radioactive material in its possession to the United States, but said he could not be sure more material was not hidden inside Iraq by Saddam Hussein (news - web sites).

Rubaie did not provide any evidence that unconventional weapons materials had crossed the border, or of attempts by militants to acquire them in Iraq.

<snip>
Rubaie said there were indications that some unconventional materials had crossed borders into neighboring states, and said Iraq would seek to have it returned if so.

"There are some indications that these (unconventional materials) have gone that way during the conflict and immediately after the conflict," he said but gave no details.

Geez, such perfect timing. What with the consideration of how to shut down the elections in case of a terrorist attack.

7. So far nobody has mentioned the fact that if in fact he does get this
stuff, IT'S THE FAULT OF THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION for not guarding the places where nuclear materials were stored after the attack. Remember all the little Iraqi kids that used the storage containers to haul water in?

So, who's gonna get the blame, who DESERVES the blame if this shit gets in the wrong hands? I can tell you who deserves it, and it's Donald Rumsfeld and the Pentagon whackos who were running the show at the time.

9. Well, that is what happens when an idiot starts an unthinkable
war and only bothers to protect the oil fields and the oil ministry. The obvious happens; nuclear material (protected prior to the war under UN mandate) gets stolen and 6000 year old, irreplaceable artifacts get destroyed or stolen.

12. New Iraq is emulating the U.S.
especially this part:

Rubaie did not provide any evidence that unconventional weapons materials had crossed the border, or of attempts by militants to acquire them in Iraq.

13. Bremers man on the spot
Remember that this iraqi national security adviser was appointed by Bremer for a 5-year stint, before Bremer hot-footed it outta there quicker than you can say "Cheney's bald."

So now it is obvious that this "adviser" is simply another mouthpiece which the BushCo cartel can use to spew propaganda while giving it the ring of independence and authenticity.

I guess you could say it is propaganda laundering.

17. I wonder
how many Americans actually believe that Iraq has "Full Sovereignty" and that this "new" Govt. is anything but a US Puppet Regime?

Is it too difficult to figure out that the people in power in Iraq are the same ones that were appointed by the US Govt. called CPA?

In my view at least 45% of Amerikans are simply ignorant, some on purpose and many are just plain ignorant and stupid. BushCo's base is comprised of the wealthy, who don't give a crap about anything but their wealth, the Chritian Fundies, who are delusional zealots preaching a perverted strain of Christianity and the ignorant, mentaly challenged. Of course within these groups there are cross overs.
