Intel justified going to war: PM
Prime Minister John Howard today maintained that intelligence at the time justified Australia's decision to go to war in Iraq and he would still make the same decision in the circumstances.

A long-awaited report by former top British civil servant Lord Butler, released overnight, found some British pre-war intelligence was seriously flawed and unreliable, but found no evidence of deliberate distortion or culpable negligence.

It discredited one key claim Blair used to justify the war in Iraq - that Saddam Hussein could deploy weapons of mass destruction (WMD) in 45 minutes.

No such weapons have been found more than a year after the invasion.

1. All these guys claim they would still go to war even if they
knew there weren't any WMD. This is of course true, since that is exactly what they did. The only regret that these shits have is that they can't seem to subdue the population. However given enough time, brutality and prison cells that can be arranged. After all, it worked for Saddam.

2. As we all know
faulty intelligence = stupidity.

"Stupidity justified going to war: PM".

the more I want to personally smack him in the mouth - see someone tried it last night at Fed Square - although it was only with a cup - proud to say the guy was from my neighbourhood!
