700 people to sue gov't seeking suspension of SDF dispatch to Iraq - JP

NAGOYA — A group of about 700 people will join a lawsuit Tuesday to challenge the constitutionality of the dispatch of the Self-Defense Forces to Iraq, the plaintiffs said Friday.

They will file the suit, the third of its kind, with the Nagoya District Court demanding 10,000 yen in compensation each, bringing the total number of plaintiffs in Nagoya to more than 3,000, they said. (Kyodo News)
