Presidential gathering will bring global spotlight (Clinton Library)
LITTLE ROCK - The arrival of some of the world's most powerful people to the Clinton Presidential Library opening should shine the global spotlight on Arkansas this November.

With a guest list that includes President Bush and former presidents Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, George H.W. Bush and their first ladies, some folks already are looking at historical perspective.

"There's never been anything like it in Arkansas, I mean period," said Bobby Roberts, an Arkansas historian and director of the Central Arkansas Library System. "There's never been this kind of gathering of leaders past and present for this state."

That's not to mention that among the thousands of guests - many of whom have booked nearly all the downtown Little Rock hotel space - will be the children, grandchildren and other relatives of deceased presidents, plus national and international celebrities and media, educators, historians and scholars, said Skip Rutherford, president of the Clinton Presidential Foundation.

7. Will be NASTY
Doubt world leaders will show up at his "grand opening". And he knows it. Then again, he is sorta delusional....

If it is his first "offical" duty in the public after the election, he might act nasty and offensive. Might not be a good thing for the Repugs. And I mean that sadly. A Proud bunch and this guy has been nothing by an embarrasment on so many different levels.

6. don't forget President-elect Kerry will be there too
Poor Schrub he will have to make a speech about a president who actually won the popular vote twice and was re-elected as president while he was defeated.
