Sheee's Back!

Conservatives nationwide have arguably a more acute case of heartburn from the Georgia results with the discovery that former Rep. Cynthia McKinney, the longtime congresswoman who notoriously suggested that BUSH KNEW (about the 9/11 attacks), appears to have gained just enough votes in a comeback bid to avoid a runoff and will likely return to Congress next year to renew her strident and despicable conspiracy- mongering. The fellow black Democrat who defeated her in 2002, Denise Majette, decided to seek the Democratic nomination for Miller's Senate seat, thus giving McKinney an opening. Majette was the top vote getter in her primary but failed to get over the runoff threshold, setting up a competitive contest with millionaire Cliff

7. I thought we were wild-eyed?
When did we become strident and despicable conspiracy mongers? Damn, I'm really having trouble keeping up with the flurry of Reupublican hyperbole.

2. Actually
If my memory serves me correctly she was just calling for an investigation into what intelligence info Bush had. Her words were misconstrued to suggest she accused Bush of knowing about 9/11 beforehand.

Maybe someone else can add to this.

3. And her implication was quite tame compared to
LIHOP or even MIHOP, suggested in F911.

McKinney questions whether Bush had advance notice of Sept. 11 attacks

WASHINGTON -- Lawmakers from both parties dismissed a Georgia congresswoman's allegation Friday that Bush administration officials ignored advance knowledge of the Sept. 11 attacks so their political friends could profit.

In a radio interview, Georgia Democrat Cynthia McKinney alleges the military buildup that followed the attacks has benefitted investment firms that specialize in defense contracts. McKinney singled out the Carlyle Group, where Bush's father -- the former president - - is an adviser.

''What did this administration know and when did it know it, about the events of Sept. 11,'' McKinney said in the March 25 interview with KPFA in Berkeley, Calif. ''Who else knew, and why did they not warn the innocent people of New York who were needlessly murdered? What do they have to hide?''

Carlyle Group spokesman Chris Ullman and White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer ridiculed the McKinney allegation as a baseless conspiracy theory.

''All I can tell you is the congresswoman must be running for the Hall of Fame of the Grassy Knoll Society,'' Fleischer said. ''I really don't have anything to say that would lend any credibility to what she said.''

12. As a proud charter member of the Grassy Knoll Society ...

... I'm continuously appalled at the rabid attacks on Ms. McKinney from both the right and the (purported) left. The more we learn and the more that comes out in the mainstream, the more it's obvious that Cynthia was merely ahead of the (bell-shaped) 'curve' and possessed of a keen sense of the obvious.

5. Thrilling!!!!

We are thrilled that she is back!
Her Grassy Theories are coming closer to the truth with each minute.
What she said then is now mild but still true IMO.

Maybe there's a small, faint hope for Georgia after all! Now, if a miracle could happen and Denise Majette be elected senator....

I am PROUD to be a member of the Strident and Despicable Conspiracy-Mongering Congressperson McKinney Fan Club. :bounce:

he didn't have the day, the flight numbers, the airlines, the name of the terrorists (so that they could have been stopped by a watch list) what seat numbers they were on, their eye, hair, height and weight. Their just was no "actionable" intelligence. I mean fair's fair. Sheeesh
