'Fahrenheit 9/11' Comes to Barn Near Bush Ranch
DALLAS (Reuters) - The surprise hit of the summer movie season will come to its star's backyard next month when a peace group holds a special screening of "Fahrenheit 9/11" just down the road from President Bush's Texas ranch.

The Michael Moore movie that lambasts Bush and his administration's reasoning for going to war in Iraq will be shown about six miles from the Bush ranch in central Texas by a local peace group on Aug. 14.

Skip Londos, a peace activist who is helping to organize the screening, said filmmaker Moore agreed to make a copy of the movie available for the group that is opposed to the war in Iraq after hearing the movie was not being shown near the Bush ranch.

Crawford, with a population of about 700, does not have a movie house, but it does have barns -- one of which will serve as an outdoor theater. Londos said the movie will probably be shown on the side of a barn.

2. Well, this person will probably go. Although I have already seen the
movie in Temple which is actually not too far from Crawford, I would go for solidarity.

4. Went in the middle of the week, the 2nd week after opening and it was
nicely attened but not full. There were lots of teens and older folk. Clapping at the end. Not sure about the showings now. Many here had already gone to Austin or Pflugerville to see it.
