FDA Says Monsanto Biotech Wheat Safe for Consumers
Last month, the company said it would shelve plans to introduce the world's first GMO wheat. Monsanto withdrew submissions for its biotech wheat from all regulatory agencies except the FDA.

5. Damn straight.
Oregon had it on the ballot last year and Monsanto and our own Federal government spent a shit load of money on advertising, TV comercials with fake farmers saying they will go under and how expensive it would be etc....

The Sheeple gobbled it up like a fuqin dewy meadow. It got shot down.... a real sad day for the human race. I mean for christ sake don't people even care about what they are eating?????

3. Monsanto contributed $63,000 to Repugs since 2000
And only $5,000 to Democrats.

9. I spent the past 2 weeks in Greece
and it was SO NICE to not have to worry what kind of shit was going into my food.

I have recently gone on a metabolic-type diet, and trimmed my food budget so I can only buy organic products. I don't trust the USDA, FDA, etc. as far as I can throw them, they have sold out to commercial interests.

Besides, CSA (community-supported agriculture) is a better way to go, since none of us have jobs anymore, it is a more sound economic idea to support your local farmers. Screw agribusiness!

11. This Story Dovetails Nicely
With the NYT story about the Bush administration intervening in lawsuits against products the FDA approves.
