Who Backs Nader?
Edited on Sat Jul-24-04 08:30 PM by Crisco
If There Are Republicans for Nader, Why Not Have Dems for Falwell? I'd recommend McCain, but there are probably enough swing voters who'd pull the lever for him and take away votes from both Bush and Kerry.

From ABC news:

Consumer advocate Ralph Nader's quixotic presidential campaign says it submitted about 5,400 signatures to get on the Michigan ballot, far short of the required number of 30,000. Luckily for him, approximately 43,000 signatures were filed by Michigan Republicans on his behalf, more than meeting the requirement.

So. Why not?

1. Well, if McCain or Fallwell were running I'd say "fight fire with fire"
but since they're not???

There isn't much we can do. The R's fall in line, the lefties fall to pieces.

2. I was kind of hoping Judge Roy Moore would run.
I was fully prepared to go on a signature drive for him.

5. Yeah, there you go!!!
Dems for Falwell and Buchanon. Yeeha!! :bounce:

This Nader thing really wierds me out. Kerry will lose votes to him if he runs. The more Kerry tries to appeal to the centrists, the more votes he'll lose to Nader. I'm voting for Kerry no matter what because it makes the most sense. I would prefer someone like Nader, but he would meet opposition from all sides if he were elected, worse then Carter did.

Kerry in 2004. No matter how you look at it, he's the best choice for most of us.
