Euro Disney's woes keep growing
AFP , PARIS

Third quarter sales figures expected this week for France's Euro Disney theme park are expected to reveal slower growth in visitor spending and add to its woes as it struggles to restructure its 2.4 billion euro (US$2.9 billion) debt, analysts predict.

One week before the Saturday deadline for shareholder approval, Euro Disney's second biggest shareholder, Prince al-Waleed bin Talal, has yet to formally signal support for the debt rescheduling plan as well as a proposed capital increase of 250 million euros.

The company suspended debt payments in November and has said it cannot repay its debt unless shareholders back the refinancing plan.

NO problem! Just have the Bush/Bin Laden families' bail Eisner out again. Especially for the RACKETEERING agreement which Eisner conspired to make with Bush/Bin Laden/Saudi families.

3. Smirk or no Smirk. Eisner or no Eisner.
Europeans love theme parks, but could give a s*t about Eurodisney. Belgium (not a big plaque of ground!) alone has around 5 theme parks and then there are many more just outside the border. All in a distance of max. a two hour drive. So why would I pay triple the amount just to get harassed by an over sized mouse in red shorts?

5. Michael Moore Interview on Stern June 25, 2004

Michael Moore Interview on Stern June 25, 2004

"This is what I've not been allowed to say on national television," Moore stated. "The Saudi royal family owns 23% of Euro Disney." One of the Saudi princes, according to Moore, in 1994 wrote a check to Michael Eisner and Disney for 360 million. "He stepped in to bail them out and they did. The Saudi royals saved Euro Disney and the company that hooked up the Saudi Royals with Eisner and Disney was company called the Carlyle Group which I show in the film- this is the group that where both Bushes worked for the Carlyle Group, dad and son. And the bin Ladens were heavy investors in the Carlyle Group." Moore said it's all available on public record that he's not telling anything that isn't out there.

6. I am currently boycotting Walt Disney.
Thanks to the informative threads here at the DU. I now know what a leech Michael Eisner is, and I'm going to continue boycotting them until further notice.

I've read a lot of people are also.
