Massive quake hits Indonesia
Strasbourg, France - An earthquake measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale shook the Indonesian island of Sumatra on Sunday, France's earth sciences observatory in Strasbourg reported.

3. I wonder how much all the bombs is cause of earthquakes
constantly going after the earth.....it just seems it ups the chance of disturbing the plates and everything......and then we take all the liquid out...which is like taking the grease off of ball joints....and I wonder how much damage we are doing to the eath's insides.....at this time....we are ruining the outside....probably the inside too

8. Apparently it occurred at a depth of 600 km
so it caused no mayor damage or casualties.

The Star newspaper reports that the earthquake "was centered too deep below the earth's surface to cause any damage, witnesses and officials said Monday."

But then it goes on to speak of a depth of 600 m... Well, well...
