The suspect, Wayne E. McMurtrey, a 51-yr-old white male, is the step-grandfather of the children and is a convicted child molester.
The children are Joseph Skief, age 2, Tyler Skief, age 4, Trevor Skief, age 6 and Shannon Volz, age 10.

The children were last seen Sunday when McMurtrey allegedly took them to a park. They have not been heard from since.

They were last seen on Johnson Ave. in Miamisburg.

McMurtrey was last seen driving a 1996 green Ford Contour with license plate DGG5925.

Contact Miamisburg police at [phone] if abducted children or suspect is observed.

Miamisburg police issued an AMBER alert Sunday night after the children's stepgrandfather, a convicted sex offender from Arizona, did not return the children to their parents from a visit to a Miamisburg park.
Columbus police said that Wayne E. McMurtrey, 51, was found at a Marathon gas station in downtown Columbus. He is being held by police.
