Moore to Show 'Fahrenheit' in Bush's Texas Town (Invites bush)
Reuters

CRAWFORD, Texas (Reuters) - Filmmaker Michael Moore will bring his antiwar documentary "Fahrenheit 9/ 11" to President Bush's Texas hometown on Wednesday and has invited the commander-in-chief to attend the viewing, organizers said.

In the parking lot of the Crawford High School football field, Moore is expected to make a presentation about the film to an audience that could temporarily double the tiny hamlet's usual population of 705, according to peace activists who first proposed showing the satirical film on the side of a barn. ,,,

1. Perhaps junior will let the hired help and the SS boys off
to view the famous documentary. That will fill up the Crawfor High School football field parking lot. Maybe fifteen hundred?

4. Just imagine -- Dubya pulls up to the Crawford coffee shop ...
... for his customary "slumming with the locals" photo-op ... and there's Michael Moore and some of the Peace House folks, making themselves comfortable with cheeseburgers etc.!

I would give my next paycheck to see that, I really would!

8. Question
Do you still have to make reservations since they moved it to the parking lot?

I'm getting back from an out of town trip at noon on Wednesday, but I'd consider driving up there from Austin. I just don't want to make a reservation if my flight gets in late or something.

9. This is BRILLIANT political theater
It puts the focus on Bush in his home. He has to respond some way -- either go, or make some blow it off remarks.

Either way -- unless he really finesses it -- he will be cornered like a crab in its own shell, with a sharp, jabbing attack hitting in the Soft Spots.

Atta way, MM -- you know how to Push the Buttons !!!

Stay tuned to this story for further gripping episodes of your favorite Political Soap Opera --

10. ARGH!
Bush is no more from Texas than my left ass cheek is from Texas. And I've never been further south than Lawton, OK.

I freaking hate it when people say Bush is from Texas.

12. I imagine there'll be quite a few disruptive forces in attendence.
Can't imagine this event will go off without a hitch. I hope there's security lined up for Michael.

17. No doubt about that whatsoever, I believe.
I can't imagine some one with the hostility we see in Bush would dream of letting him do this and simply walk away.

I hope he's got more than enough security, also.

15. Moore: I’ve always felt kinda sorry for Pres. Bush - MSWHORE
Moore on Disney and his film, “Fahrenheit 9/11”:

RON REAGAN: So now Disney, at the same time that they refused to distribute your film, put out “Around the World in 80 Days,” which cost 100 million dollars to produce, 30 million to promote and made 22 million dollars.  Your movie cost 10 million to make...

MOORE:  6 million to make...

REAGAN:  What do you think they’re saying at the Disney offices right now?

MOORE: I honestly do feel bad for them, I really do. You know, Mr. Eisner, I don’t know... I’m still willing to take his call, though, now that I am in the 100 million league.

Moore on the political impact of “Fahrenheit 9/11”:

REAGAN: Now you, of course, you’ve taken some hits for doing this movie.  People have been attacking you and all.  Are you the kind of guy who actually revels in that, though?  Or are you really kind of sick of that?
