Diplomats: Iran resumes nuclear program
Associated Press

VIENNA, Austria - Iran has broken the U.N. nuclear watchdog's seals on centrifuge equipment and resumed building the devices, which are key to making nuclear weapons, in a show of defiance against international efforts to monitor its program, diplomats said Tuesday.

(snip)

The diplomats cautioned against equating Iran's move with the removal of IAEA seals on nuclear equipment by North Korea two years ago as it expelled agency inspectors and declared itself no longer bound by the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty.

The agency was informed of Iran's decision to break the seals, which - unlike in North Korea - "were not a legal requirement" on the part of Tehran, one of the diplomats told The Associated Press.

(snip)

But the removal of the seals could push the Europeans closer to the United States' position, which is to haul Iran before the U.N. Security Council for allegedly violating the Nonproliferation Treaty. That could lead to U.N. sanctions against Iran.

1. Iran nukes may stablize the region.
But i think the Isrealis will bomb their nuclear facilities within a year or two before the Iranians get the bomb.

2. Funny how all the "diplomats"
are unnamed. Could this be our regime's "new product" to be rolled out just in time for November. A brand new "boogy man" to terrorize the Country with, hmmmm.

6. It's now confirmed by the Iranian Foreign Minister
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/3942435.stm

Iran has resumed building centrifuges used for enriching uranium, Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi has announced.

He said the move was in response to a failure by European countries to honour a pledge to help close an international dispute over Iran's nuclear activities.

However, Mr Kharrazi said Iran had not resumed actually enriching uranium.

3. If I were Iran, I would be thinking that the development of nukes...
...may be the only thing that will keep the U. S. from invading.
