'Fahrenheit' soldier in hot water?

WASHINGTON — Fahrenheit 9/11 transformed Marine Lance Cpl. Abdul Henderson into an internationally known war protester. Now it could get him in legal trouble.

When asked on screen by director Michael Moore whether he planned to return to fight in Iraq, Henderson said no.

"The question kind of surprised me, because I wasn't expecting it," says Henderson, a reservist who saw combat for about two months after the Iraq war began. "But my answer came from the heart."

The scene, along with others in which Henderson accompanies Moore to Capitol Hill as Moore tries to enlist members of Congress to send their kids off to fight, was filmed last March.

Our country betrayed its troops by sending them to fight when the fight wasn't necessary. Henderson may be disobeying orders, but any thinking soldier should do so in this situation. I'll donate to his legal fund, that's for sure.

19. Hated some of them drive-in movie restrooms

The urinals were long (15'-20ft) stainless steal bins with little water jets (communal pissing holes).

When i was a little guy, i walked into one of them restrooms while the movie was on (only a few people in there). They had some kinda round looking things that looked like them same kind of 'bins'. So i whipped it out and had to AIM HIGH because it was kinda tall. About that time some of the friends i came with, walked in the restroom and all started bustin up. Them round things turned out to be a place where you wash your hands :dunce:

I remember when Moore asked him if he would go back to Iraq he said no, then when Moore asked him why he said, "I'm not going someplace and killing poor people.", or something to that effect.

7. Theater's Tax Exemption Threatened

In Allentown PA, a paid staffperson for the Lehigh County Republican Party has been attacking the 19th Street Theater, a local non-profit theater, that was the only theater in the county that was showing F911. He claimed that they could lose their IRS tax exempt status because they didn't stop a person from handing out anti-Bush leaflets on a public sidewalk in front of the theater.

There are also allegations that local Republican Party officials said they would withhold donations to the theater if they showed F911. However, they were small contributors, so it was no big deal.

Did he know at the time his unit was scheduled to return to Iraq? Seems to me that's sort of crucial in this, if they're going to try to find him guilty of desertion or threatened desertion or whatever....
