Edwards's Courtroom Appeal
BOSTON, July 29 -- John F. Kerry hired a lawyer when he hired his running mate, and Wednesday night John Edwards (news - web sites) reached for the same strengths that made him famous in North Carolina courtrooms. With a deceptively informal style, he delivered a tightly argued, intensely rehearsed, unabashedly emotional appeal for his client to a jury of voters across the nation.

Is Ed Gilespi editing all the nationals now? Down in the piece there is some straight reporting, but the tone is set in paragraph one:

2. corporate tabloid yellow journalism
sensationalism

they should be sued

I don't care if it has a chance or not ... sue them over mischaracterization, libel, slander ... throw the book at them ...

when are they going to stop? when the last subscription is taken in?
the last corporate advertisement that runs?

and, fine Mr. Falwell for breaking campaign laws with his tax exempt endorsement of Bush
http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20040728/ap_on_el_pr/falwell_politicking_1
Falwell loves attention.

or, take away his tax exempt status ...

that'll help separate some church from state if not correctly identify what type of organization one really operates

the body politic is polluted and abused ... and, in order for this democracy to survive ... we need responsible conduct from all party's ... from the Washington Post to Liberty Baptist University/Church and other Holdings ...

3. I watched Edwards' speech on ABC and Jennings *first* remark...
was made as the the Edwards kids joined Mom and Dad. He said something like "Even if you disapprove of parading the children around during a campaign, these two have been real troopers"

That was his FIRST comment.
