She said a friend of her's is the mother of a gay child. Why should that mother not be allowed to see her child's happiness on his wedding day like any other mother? Teresa said that if one looks at the issue through the eyes of a mother there's no doubt as to how the issue should be resolved.

That made so much sense to me.
