U.S. Soldier Killed in Iraq

BAGHDAD, Iraq - A U.S. soldier was killed early Sunday when an improvised bomb exploded in northern Baghdad, the military announced.

The blast went off about 1:30 a.m., the military said in a statement. No other soldiers were wounded, it said.

The name of the deceased soldier was being withheld until the next of kin could be informed.

As of Friday, 930 U.S. service members have died since the beginning of military operations in Iraq in March 2003, according to the U.S. Defense Department.

I am so sorry for all of the lives lost and ruined by the illegal invasion of a sovereign country by the illegally installed junta at the executive branch of our country.

The reports have been repeating 930 all weekend. Like the killing stopped on Friday or something. The closer 1000 US Deaths come the more they will try to hide it.
