Arabs: Terror War Has Spread Instability
CAIRO, Egypt - While people around the world mourned the victims of the Sept. 11 attacks, many Arabs warned that the U.S.-led war on terror and Washington's support of Israel has only spread, not reduced, global militancy and instability.

"Sept. 11 was a tragic day in our history because so many innocent people were killed at the hands of militants, who find a fertile ground in our region in view of the biased U.S. policies toward Israel and against Arab causes," said 34-year-old banker Mahmoud Obeid in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

"We don't hate the Americans as people, but we abhor the policies of their government, which blindly supports Israel against our just causes in Palestine and Iraq."

1. Well, we certainly have something in common then.
We both "abhor the policies of their government..."

2. Wait A Just A Darn Tootin' Minute.... I Thought They Hated Our "Freedoms"
I do wonder... who exactly ARE the people who STILL BELIEVE that we are despised for our "freedoms"??

3. Your response captures the ridiculousness of the justifications used by
this administration to defend its lunatic behavior. Right is wrong, up is down, and black is white. If people have been paying any attention, they'll understand that we began losing our freedom when bush* & Co. hijacked the 2000 election and things have just gotten worse from that point on.
