1. This was mentioned on the Al Franken Show.... |
|
...this afternoon. I couldn't fucking believe it. There goes the military vote for Bush--if there's anything even remotely resembling justice in the world.

3. it's hard to put into words how low-down that is. |

the military's this desperate for warm bodies, yet the neo-cons and crazies want to fight iran next.
if we don't get these psychos out of office, they're going to get us all killed.

4. So much for the all volunteer Army. |
|
This is the kind of thing that inspires mutineys. And the real issue is : how do we know that they won't gathered up and sent there anyway? Why bother trusting them?
Its a bad sign when you have to coerce anyone to reenlist -
So when will the fraggings begin ?

6. They will. The real choice is one year of Iraq vs. three years of Iraq |
|
Then again, there's no guarantee that one year will be one year, either.
I told you before and I'll tell you again: since Canada and Mexico wimped out, Brazil became a very nice country. All you have to do is get to the embassy or a consulate and poof, in foreign territory you are.

14. If "one of us" means he sees the damage Bush is wreaking... |
|
... and has had enough, but not if it means that he's a Democrat or liberal. Lou is a traditional conservative, offended by Bush's extreme policies.
