10 commandment block of stone gone
The stone has just been moved.
I wonder when Roy Moore will be gone.

1. They are all praying now
Watching this in the office right now on Fox. Most of the protesters are laying down in front of the courthouse right now, praying quietly. With one exception -- one of the men keeps yelling "put them back" at the top of his lungs. Wonder how long they will stay out there now?

2. Hell, the guy will probably be elected to the senate.....
I was hoping the pallet jack would fail and the thing would fall over and shatter into a million pieces. Now THAT would have been some 'reality TV'!
Welcome to DU!

3. Probably never
I'm sure Moore went into this knowing it was a win-win situation for his future political plans. If the monument had been left alone, he could campaign as the judge who brought God back to the Alabama courts. Since it looks like the monument is not going to be allowed on the rotunda (and will probably be moved out of temporary storage once the courts once again smack him down), he can now campaign on the godlessness in government and prop himself up as a good "christian" soldier, fighting the good fight.

7. Maybe they should go back home
and start checking their bibles to see if perhaps there was something they missed in their Christian training, like all the WORDS OF CHRIST!

Good grief!

I'll betcha you wouldn't have found HIM making a jackass of HIMself!

12. Jesus threw the money changers out of the temple....
And now, thanks to assholes like Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, Oral Roberts, Bob Jones, and D. James Kennedy, the money changers OWN the temples.

8. Wingnut organizer Mahoney
is telling the crowd he's being allowed to view the monument to make sure it hasn't been damaged. Said the top part will be removed and stored in a separate place.

10. Why don't otherwise presumably reasonable Americans get it?
Whether they walk & talk, journey from Kentucy with home schooled children, have proper jobs, get proper hair cuts, prostrate themselves before their own ignorance and such; there is no primacy of religion over no religion let alone one religion over another affored within any article of The Constitution or The Rights.

Separate Chruch & State Now!

Perhaps now, however, we can stop this their christian-rightwing notion that they can use public school facilities after hours as a platform for their proselytizing ~

15. This all could have been solved a long time ago
Assuming Roy Moore is the type of Christian that follows Jesus' teachings. In Luke 6:30 Jesus clearly tells his followers that if anyone asks for anything from them they should give it to them. If anyone takes something from them they should not demand it back.

Unless Roy Moore is some kind of hypocrit a simple request for the monument should effectively have removed it.
