12. They can't prosecute anybody |
|
Only prosecutors can prosecute. There's no private prosecution in America ... at least, there's not supposed to be.
But they can try to sue for it ... if they feel like getting laughed out of court.

20. What? Penis enlargement is a scam? |
|
Oh wait, you said spam. For a minute I thought I'd wasted $19.95 plus shipping and handling.
Which reminds me: when they send out penis enlargement kits, I understand the shipping part, but what do they mean by "handling?"

An emptied tube of caulk, a length of fishtank tubing, and a li'l ol' hand pump is all the gear that any honest man needs.
And if you're Jelqing, there's one secret device that makes it a breeze: rosary beads.
Hope this helped.

They can't prosecute anyone for showing someone something that they received, unless they can also prove that the person was complicit in the deception.
If anyone got it, post it, let's see what it says.
Assholes, who do they think they are? The mafia?

Fuck them. I emailed the world my objection to their stunt next week. MY email went something like, Dear Communists, You suck.
No spoof.

11. In a figurative sense... |

Government sponsored media, staying on message and punishment for those (newscasters) who don't, carefully crafted propoganda to the masses...that sorta thing.

That so many people think that Communists are the kings of propaganda, when the undoubted master of propaganda is the American capitalist system.
Even the fact that you think it is the communists who best exemplify propaganda is proof that the capitalists are the best :-)

The part that gets me is that thay say if these emails are "forwarded" or "posted" then you are subject to civil action.
Can they do that? If slanderous emails cannot be forwarded then every damn Republican out there would be off the internet.

9. No, they cannot do that. Merely forwarding someone an e-mail |
|
for them to see is not illegal (unless it's child pornography or something), as long as YOU don't represent the contents of the forwarded e-mail as truth.
It's like all those fake e-mails making the rounds that are false...the ones purportedly about Kerry owning Heinz and it does outsourcing (lies), the one purportedly written by George Carlton (a lie), etc.

was just talking about the Kerry campaign being offered equal time on the Sinclair stations and having three days to come up with something. Could this be a result of the e-mail hoax? I have heard no other source confirm this offer yet.

trying to pass the blame off on a mysterious spoofer.
P.S. The threatening of prosecuting forwarders is the tip-off. That would be impossible. I'll forward anything I want that is delivered to my Inbox with impunity. (Unless it's already illegal, like child porn or other such debaucery.) There is no law against forwarding supposed "spoof."
