Who will Americans vote for? - US pollster is betting on Tin Man Kerry win
Tin Man vs Scarecrow - Who will Americans vote for? - US pollster is betting on Tin Man Kerry winning the race against Scarecrow Bush

LOST in the maze of conflicting views as to who is likely to win the US presidential election? The Tin Man and the Scarecrow from the Land of Oz may prove to be useful guides. They did for top US pollster John Zogby.

10. But Oz never did give nothing to the Tin Man...
that he didn't already have.

Weak lyrics. But it had an intriguing tune.
:hi:

5. Either the Tin Man or the Scarecrow...
...would be an improvement over the Wicked Witch of the West.

9. You Know, This Tin Man Stuff Is Really Stupid
Since Bush has neither heart nor brain, and Kerry has both, the question is whether one wants a fellow human being in office, or an alien slaver.

11. I took that poll online I reacted the same way.
Voted for heart, never in my wildest imaginings thinking "heart" could be code for Bush. Kerry has heart, he saved lives, cares for people. Rove is a toad with a brain.

12. Next time just vote "Don't Know"
It was a stupid ass question, just ignore it next time. I want a person in there with a brain AND a heart, hence Kerry.

13. I took that zogby poll and was stuck on this question
First, the Tin Man did have a heart and compassion. The scarecrow did have brains. Oz never gave either of them anything that they didn't already have. They just didn't believe they possessed one or the other. So it was still a decision between brain and heart and I need both to be fully integrated in a human being to give my vote for president. I opted for refused or not sure or something like that.

Funny they think * is the scarecrow. He falls down a lot and goofs around a lot. They have that in common.

15. I hated that question! -m
So, Kerry's supposed to have a brain, but no heart? And Bush is supposed to have a heart???

Give me a break! One candidate's got it all, the other is sadly lacking in any positive human attributes.
