NYT-Chalabi and al-Sadr joining forces for an anti-U.S. govt
Talk about ironies

possibly anti-American alliance that is looming between Ahmad Chalabi, the former exile and Pentagon favorite, and Moktada al-Sadr, the firebrand cleric who ignited two deadly uprisings against the Americans and the interim government.

After falling out with the Americans last spring, Mr. Chalabi has recast himself as a pious Shiite and is pursuing a coalition with Mr. Sadr, who has a zealous following. An anti-American platform would have widespread support.

Saddam in power was a better option than a Shite government

1. Saddam in power was a better option than a Shite government
Too bad all the little brainiacs in and around the wh couldn't see this coming... our country has been led down the garden path by a bunch of morons who have not and are not being held accountable for their failures in judgement, their failures in picking alliances (Chalabi) their failures to secure the country after the illegal invasion, their failures to create a better climate within our own borders.

They should all be fired and I am sure that they know this themselves.

12. Buh-buh-but...
Now we are protected from abortion
doctors and HOMOSEXUALS...moral values are secure!
(Sarcasm OFF.)

You know what is REALLY fucked up about this
situation?
The people in this country will not even remember
the Chalabi disaster and the fact that their
shining leader employed him a few short months ago.
THAT is what is truly fucked up.

23. Ask your average 'Murikkkan, "Who is Chalabi?"
They will scratch their head, roll their eyes up to
simulate deep thinking and reply,
"Well...seems to me he makes that wine that comes
in the gallon jugs...right?"
Convenient is right, convenient to keep the populace
ignorant and therefore complacent.
Gimme some dat Chalabi Chardonnay...um, um, good.

They tried to arrest him, they even tried to assassinate him. Bwahahaha, I can't stop laughing. pResident FUBAR, you are a never-ending riot of inanities and incompetence.

Chalabi, you little piece of sh*t, throw yourself onto bush and make him stink!!

Bwahahahaha. I have never seen Karma operate so fast. The Universe is PISSED at pResident FUBAR.

Excuse my laughter, I once laughed at someone who pointed a gun at my face, it's a psychologically disturbing trait I happen to have, to laugh at morbidity.

24. You just HAVE to love it!!
CIA kicks Chalabi out in 1996 because they realize he's full of shit.

Feith bends over and lets Chalabi fuck him up the ass for $300,000/mo. for his INC lackeys and mounds of fraudulent intelligence that is stovepiped up to the highest levels of our government as "proof" that Saddam had WMDs and needed to be taken out.

When the shit hits the fan about the bad data, Chalabi gets booted out *again* and then is labeled a spy for Iran to discredit him and distance the administration from him.

Now he's sidling up with al-Sadr in attempts to form what would be an antagonistic government to the U.S.

Karma's a bitch, ain't it?

28. Um....people, stop to think for a minute
Chalabi (still an agent for the CIA) and Sadr working together can bring Iran into the mess in Iraq, thereby giving the U.S. reason to strike Iran "pre-emptively."

You'd think Al Sadr would steer WAY clear of Chalabi.

You'd think everybody should steer clear of him.

Why isn't he in jail?

(oh right. Same reason GWB isn't in jail)

35. I want to know how much we paid Chalabi.
He was on the payroll at the Defense Department, if I recall correctly, for a very hefty sum. That's our money, folks. When's the investigation?

D'oh! The GOP controls all branches of government, so I guess we don't get one, and our money is as good as burnt.

But they'll still ask us for more to pour down the rabbit hole.
