2. It has made the rounds a couple of times and been locked
The latest BBC article said that their embedded reporter has reported some serious casualties in the unit he is with, though.

if they can avoid it? Not like these guys in the Pentagon (or anywhere else in Washington) are such open and transparent public servants these days.

Also not like we have any embedded reporters with the Marines in Fallujah, either. Or reporters who've ventured outside Baghdad, for that matter.

They probably did say that. That doesn't mean it's true.
