Yasser Arafat in a deeper coma. Just heard on BBC news he's near death
Worsening Arafat 'in deeper coma'

Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat's condition has worsened and his coma has deepened, according to the hospital near Paris where he is being treated.

A hospital spokesman said it was a "significant" development but the prognosis was uncertain.

Top Palestinian officials have arrived at the hospital in an attempt to find out more about his condition.

They say information is being filtered by his wife, Suha, who earlier accused them of conspiring against him.

I looked this up because I just heard on BBC news that he reportedly has only hours to live. I don't think this is a dupe, but sorry if it is.

4. Bush might stick his nose in it deeper?
More than he has, that is. His anti-christ activities must also be anticipated and monitered.

3. So hard to know how to feel about this...
I am worried that his death may trigger violence--especially if they don't manage to find the $billions he controlled of Palestinian moneys.
The guy was no hero, that's for damned sure, but what an opportunity he had before Sharon and with Clinton still in office to move the peace process forward. Such a tragic, tragic missed opportunity... While he pissed it away, Bush and Sharon made damned sure to bury him and his cause. Tragically the fact that these two are still around, any possibility of a new opportunity for fresh start once Arafat passes will be pissed away on our side.

Blessed are the peacemakers... and we sure don't have any right now!
