1. Geneva Conventions are so "quaint" - perfect choice for top law enforcer
Whatever the worst choice is, trust Bush to make it - ugh.

2. OMFG. No. Way.
That is absolutely outrageous, that this man should be named the top law enforcer in our country. Unbelievable, though it shouldn't be, after everything else we've seen. I cannot even... Ugh.

3. I was guessing Giuliani, considering how much ass-kissing he did,
but Rudy is merely an opportunistic whore, not a deranged ideologue. So maybe he doesn't qualify. He'll be awfully disappointed, though.

SInce a deranged ideologue is probably required, Gonzales would be the perfect replacement for Asscrack. Isn't he the guy who wrote the memos that said the Geneva Conventions were quaint and it was OK to torture people as long as you didn't actually kill them?

4. Hmmm...he's pro-torture, but!...
he's not as anti-abortion as the extremists like. I'd prefer him to Racicot.

It isn't easy to find an upside to having a pro-torture AG :(

6. Locking... LBN Rules
The Rules for Posting in the Latest Breaking News Forum require posters to use the published title of linked-to articles as their subject line.

In this case, the subject line should read "Speculation follows Cabinet resignations."

Thanks!
