1. Interesting tease there |
|
I'll be posting some amazing national election numbers and demographic trends that may shock you. I've run some of the numbers past a few MSNBC political analysts, and everybody is calling it "a big deal."

He has been writing some really incisive blogs lately...he is the only reporter I have seen so far, besides Olbermann, that has the guts to raise the tough questions.

4. But Palast says its the optical scanners |

that could have been tampered with. These have paper ballots that they will recount by hand. (Is this correct?) Also he says the provisional ballots need to be counted.

12. I wonder if it will be a full hand count, or just a hand count of the |
|
rejected ballots.
In Florida, they ran the ballots through the machines, and then counted, sort of, the ones the machine spit out. If they do that, they may not catch discrepancies between what the machine recorded and what is really on the ballots. If they do a complete hand count of all the ballots, even those read by the machines, we'll have a clear answer on whether the counting machines were rigged, at least.
IF the counters were rigged, then depending on how they did it, even running the ballots through the machines again could yield interesting results. If things don't match up, then they have to look at the ballots.
This is all interesting. i think the media is suspicious, too, which is why they are running all these stories on what the internet community suspects. With this much suspicion, there should be a full count, just to prove that the election is fair. If it was.

15. You're right - with opticals - they can count - but my gut tells me the |

real problem is the trail left when they received the precinct numbers and the path from the county to the state.

The next issue is developing a workable protocol for fair elections, an uphill battle against Republicans in power.

He said I thought he won by 300 K.
So whch is it? Is 300 K or 136 ?
I think the 300 K was project correct?
or Bush was up by that many when Ohio was 'given to him' i mean by media

No one really knows how to project from here out. Lots of provisional and absentee, and the turnout shows that weighting models were off.

~snip~
This afternoon, I spoke with Blair Bobier, the attorney/spokesman for David Cobb, the Green Party's 2004 candidate for President. Bobier confirms that the press release floating on the net is legitimate. The Green Party is combining forces with the Libertarian Party to seek a statewide election recount in Ohio.
Unlike Florida in 2000, Ohio's recount rules are straightforward and specific. Once the Ohio vote is certified, which I'm told could happen as early as next week, the Green/Libertarian group will have five days to file a formal application for statewide recount. In addition, the group must then deposit $10 for every precinct to be recounted.
Based on the number of precincts in Ohio, a statewide recount will cost the Green/Libertarian group about $110,000. However, the group expects to raise that money "rather easily" within the next few days.
Once the recount application has been filed, the recount itself must begin within 10 days. So, expect to see the formal recount kick-off in early December.

Olbermann's the one with guts here.. Tweety sat on his well-padded ass and yukked it up about the "internet conspiracy nuts", but NOW he's interested??
He (and ALL of the others) should have been on this like white on rice.. As soon as the "blue states" were given grudgingly, while red states were gift-wrapped and given early to * so the graphics NEVER showed him behind or even close..
people went to bed seeing kerry trailing way behind, when in actuality he was ahead at times, and never more than a few behind *..:grr:

Having taught Constitutional law in law schools and having practiced it for almost thirty years, I'm always delighted when someone catches on to what an absolutely brilliant and prescient and living document our Constitution is.
The part about the electors meeting on the first Monday after the second Wednesday in December after the popular election is now getting its props. This is the kind of situation the framers envisioned.
The greatest bunch of guys who ever lived, the men who wrote our Constitution.

That's why he took his mask off and we are getting to see his real agenda, not the one he campaigned on.

Many people's lives are at stake and he(Kerry) will have to take the responsibility of the innocent lives that will have been murdered needlessly at the hands of Bush due to his cowardlyness.
