Amazingly moronic LTE in today's Mpls Star Tribune

Time for the Democrats to really confess why they are upset about President Bush's proposed Social Security overhaul. Under President Bush's plan younger workers can "voluntarily" commit part of their payroll taxes to a private account. This means that politicians will not be able to borrow and use your private account as a government slush fund as is the case with the present system.

Democrats will have to find a source other than Social Security to fund their vision of big government.

xxxx, Buffalo, MN

I bet this Freeper's head would explode if someone explained to him that it's not the Democrats that looted the trust fund.

1. LOL! Saw that one this morning.
What a morAn. He also doesn't know that the SS fund, by law, can't be spent on other programs. And, if I remember correctly, under Clinton there was a huge surplus. The evil Democrants weren't bankrupting the country in those days.
