Status quo unacceptable in Arab world - Rice
(Someone please enlighten her to the glaring fact that the status quo is unacceptable in the American world, as well.)

Status quo unacceptable in Arab world - Rice

Tue Feb 8, 1:51 PM ET Mideast - AFP

PARIS (AFP) - The status quo in the Arab world is unacceptable, US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice (news - web sites) said before an audience in Paris.

"The status quo is not going to be acceptable. You have large populations who are not receiving a proper education. You have 22 countries that have a GDP (news - web sites) (gross domestic product) that is not the size of Spain's. This is not acceptable. How can this be?" she said.

"The freedom deficit has had dramatic negative effects and unfortunately we in the West for far too long turned a blind eye to that freedom deficit."

"We have a level of helplessness that has produced an ideology of hatred so thorough and so virulent ... that this cannot be the future of the Middle East.

"Security and moral concern tell us that this is a part of the world that cannot be insulated from the dignity and prosperity that freedom brings. People in those societies are just tired of being denied their freedom," she said.

1. I can see Saudi Money being diverted to al Quaida right now
I can see Saudi money being diverted to al Quaida right now as we speak ... and Bandar's uncle will have some words Bush's dad. But it will be okay - cause Bush Sr. will just put Babs on the phone and shut him up.

I thought that terror was the enemy? Could it be that the lessons of 9/11 were taken to heart? That millions of poor exploited by the rich is never a good thing? That neocons see the error of the republican ways so have decided to steal the Republican Party?

The freepers must be so confused.

7. That really boils it down, doesn't it?
They are frustrated in their attempts to buy off the world.

It's their solution to all problems.

What's the Osama bounty up to now? You'd think they'd figure it out...eventually. sheesh.

Next she says that if Iraq doesn't deal with Europe - that bad ass UN will hit back hard. And we know how much she respects that wimpy little UN! And that "old Europe".
