Workplace Religion has been around a long time--- |

but in different forms. As a retired nurse, I met these zealots many times. Many of the times came when a Dr. ordered a surgery and needed 2 signatures along with the patients to perform the surgery. The zealots were mostly nurses, who would bring the consent form to me to sign because their religion opposed it. I could never understand the rational that a nurse could assume she knew more than the physician about whether it was a matter of life or death. I gladly signed every one presented to me as long as I knew it was ordered by a qualified physician. I cant say these zealots were ignorant, but I can say that they were not concerned with anyone but their own views. I must remember that these kinds of people will be with usmalways, and we must be on guard.

letting them practice their own views?? The form got signed didn't it? No harm, no foul.
Why do we have to impose our views on them? We don't want them imposing their views on us.
