Limbaugh offended America
Someone suggested to me that to now be critical of the idiotic, racist remarks made by Rush Limbaugh, the conservative radio show host and former ESPN commentator, is tantamont to "shooting a dead horse." I disagree.

Criticism by the public undoubtedly forced Limbaugh to resign Wednesday night from his job with ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown.

Limbaugh self-imploded with his attacks on Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb. He cannot blame the "liberal media" for his fate.

"The media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well," Limbaugh said during the Sept. 28 program. "There is a little hope invested in McNabb and he got a lot of credit for the performance of this team that he didn't deserve. The defense carried this team."<snip>

2. The problem was that he was let out of his private little club
to speak his mind.

ESPN does not deserve any sympathy. We warned them.

Now Rush is trying to act all sacrificial with the "I took one for the team". Trying to say that he left to protect the other people working at ESPN. ESPN's bigger than he is (meaning as a media presence). They didn't need his protection, they didn't need him at all.

Wait till ESPN hears from their former (albeit brief) fans who made the 10 percent jump in their ratings. I can just imagine the hate mail now.

At least now I can watch the Steelers - Browns game without giving this drug-addled idiot any credit.

Bleed Black, Sweat Gold - Tears are for the other teams.
