Cindy Sheehan | Her Voice Serves Us All
The courageous and stark will of Cindy Sheehan's quest to confront the President has tremendous relevance at this point in American history.

For years, the fear and unwillingness of the mainstream media has generated a string of failures and blatant ignorance in respect to the many suspect, disreputable, and down-right criminal acts of this administration and its base.

The Republican party has done nothing to oppose this President of any relevance. They have acted as benefactors of this corrupt administration and have pledged their political souls to perpetuate their own sinister agendas, exploiting ignorance and fears of the American people to strip them of their rights and dignity as they "sleep."

The Democratic party, with the exception of a few, seems to have lost its regard to the voice of the individual American for which it is charged with supporting. Sadly, it seems that the DNC, DLC and the upper echelon of the party have not identified with the plight of we Americans, who witness great injustice and corruption in in plain sight and haven't the capability to reach the broader audience. Note that the DLC, nor the DNC have no mention of Cindy Sheehan's quest.

But now, it seems those days are drawing to an end. As Cindy Sheehan plants herself on the doorstep of the Palace of Versailles, she is fundamental in recapturing all of our lost and wayward voices. Whether she realizes it, her presence and message is doing all of us a great service. Once more, she is doing a great service to patriotism.

Her severe loss is unforgivable, as is the loss that thousands of American families have felt in this war. Yet, she fights on and is victorious at the very least for recapturing the voice of the American citizen. A voice long unheard and suppressed in our political structure.

I take this time to thank her from the depths of my soul. Thanks to all of our families ravaged by this war. We are here for you.

1. to borrow a phrase from *, you are either with us or you are against us,
only it's not the faux war on terrorism I refer to. It's right and wrong. And this corporate-sponsored slaughter is as wrong as it gets. History will not be kind to those that perpetrate and collaborate.

2. Very, very nice. And if history doesn't see fit to thank this woman

for opening the eyes of Americans everywhere, then I want to make sure I do it here from the bottom of my heart. Many will think it's just be a coincidence that a lot of bad press started happening to Bush after Cindy sat herself in a chair in the blazing hot sun in Crawford, but I don't believe that for an instant. Cindy has shown what courage looks like, and people who can make a difference have said to themselves "maybe I could show some courage too". You started it, Cindy, and I will believe that the rest of my life. We owe you a lot, more than we can say.
