Deadly Tale of Incompetence (Mohamed Atta and Able Danger)
The New Jersey Star-Ledger has some startling new info about the recent story that the top secret Pentagon team Able Danger knew about Mohamed Atta and three other hijackers back in 2000 but weren't allowed to do anything with that knowledge. Some snippets:

Here, on Route 23 (in New Jersey, north of Newark), bathed in the August morning sun and only a short drive from Route 80 and the Willowbrook Mall, a roadside motel bears silent witness to a police bust that might have been.

For a year before the 9/11 attacks, the Wayne Inn was home to Mohammed Atta, the al-Qaida mastermind behind the hijacking plot that killed almost 3,000 people.

...

The connect-the-dots tracking by the (Able Danger) team was so good that it even knew Atta conducted meetings with the three future hijackers. One of those meetings took place at the Wayne Inn. That's how close all this was - to us and to being solved, if only the information had been passed up the line to FBI agents or even to local cops.

---

The author of this article was able to speak with one of the whistleblowers from the Able Danger team, and much more is revealed here. Meanwhile most newspapers are carrying stories unquestioningly repeating the 9/11 Commission's recent claims that they were justified in ignoring this Able Danger info. For instance, one of the articles is titled "Able Danger Disabled." Let's not let the media sweep this under the rug!

1. By the way...
Most of this info about Atta and other hijackers living in Wayne, New Jersey, has been in the press before. The new part is that the Able Danger knew this, and just how much they knew. This long article written last year has more on the Wayne connection (do a keyword search for Wayne):

It seems obvious to me that if anyone had been tracking Atta and the other three hijackers they knew about in Wayne, they quickly would have discovered all the other hijackers. For instance, Nawaf Alhazmi (whom Able Danger knew was an al-Qaeda agent) rented a car in Wayne three times with Hani Hanjour. The hijackers were meeting up with each other all the time.

2. The Main Warning went up the Ladder to Bush at his 8/3/01 ranch meeting
"Watch my Drive" was his response

He did not do shit.

He and Cheney were supposed to take care of terrorist attacks via upgraded security measures(early 2001).... Cheney did not have even 1 meeting re this end, not one.

Add the warnings from other agencies and it makes you wonder if they WANTED an attack......all the signs point towards this...

and now, with high oil prices...it appears it is THEY WHO WILL GAIN big time...fuck the rest of us small guys....all Bushies policies point towards the Big guys..it ain't us/////dats for sure....

3. They said Clinton's admin tried to tell Bush's about Osama, and
that he would be what they spent most of their time on. Didn't listen to them. A year before the attacks would be last few months of Clinton's.

Here’s the big question nobody seems to be ready to ask: Upon what basis did the 9.11 Commission conclude that the FBI’s timeline was correct and that an elite Army Intel unit was mistaken in saying they were tracking Mohamed Atta roaming freely across America during 1999 and 2000?

much more
