CapitolHillBlue.com: Bush's Obscene Tirades Rattle White House Aides

By DOUG THOMPSON
Aug 25, 2005, 06:19

While President George W. Bush travels around the country in a last-ditch effort to sell his Iraq war, White House aides scramble frantically behind the scenes to hide the dark mood of an increasingly angry leader who unleashes obscenity-filled outbursts at anyone who dares disagree with him.

“I’m not meeting with that goddamned bitch,” Bush screamed at aides who suggested he meet with Cindy Sheehan, the war-protesting mother whose son died in Iraq. “She can go to hell as far as I’m concerned!”

President Bush flashes the bird before going live at the White House.
Bush, administration aides confide, frequently explodes into tirades over those who protest the war, calling them “motherfucking traitors.” He reportedly was so upset over Veterans of Foreign Wars members who wore “bullshit protectors” over their ears during his speech to their annual convention that he told aides to “tell those VFW assholes that I’ll never speak to them again is they can’t keep their members under control.”

White House insiders say Bush is growing increasingly bitter over mounting opposition to his war in Iraq. Polls show a vast majority of Americans now believe the war was a mistake and most doubt the President’s honesty.

“Who gives a flying fuck what the polls say,” he screamed at a recent strategy meeting. “I’m the President and I’ll do whatever I goddamned please. They don’t know shit.”

Bush, whiles setting up for a photo op for signing the recent CAFTA bill, flipped an extended middle finger at the camera before going live. Aides say the President often “flips the bird” to show his displeasure and tells aides who disagree with him to “go to hell” or to “go fuck yourself.”

6. Doug Thompson who runs Capitol Hill Blue has written a couple of
articles about Shrubbies mental health. He claims to have "inside sources" and is presenting the stories seriously. Like you, have no idea how much real truth is there, but they sure are fun to read!

21. Doug recently 'semi-retired' and moved to WVA I think
He was burnt out...but he spent YEARS and YEARS and YEARS on the Hill--he knows EVERYONE. He was not only a reporter, he was once a staffer. He has contacts everywhere. I'm glad to see him putting a foot back in the water. It has been especially interesting watching him go from a supporter of the regime to a serious critic of it.

Also, he is a recovering alky, and he knows the signs. I think he has the chimp's profile down to a science...

and not president. He may have done it while president, but that pic is from when he was governor of Texas and he was clowning around while doing it.

Nevertheless, I've no doubt he's going off the deep end.

I remember them reporting on bush allegedly going bonkers on mood-calming drugs about a year ago.

10. Reputable? Probably not so much but the articles are fun to read and it's
not too much of a stretch to picture Shrubbie actually doing some of the stuff Capitol Hill Blues likes to report!

12. Its a formula
He quotes an unnamed source of some tirade tied to current events, with generic quotes.

Then he quotes the only named source, a guy trying to shill the book he wrote.

According to CHB, the chimp has been close to a breakdown for years now.

He must have remarkable composure :eyes:

9. Doug Thompson
has been saying this about Bush* pretty consistantly now....

either he is very badly misinformed or deliberately trying to set people up to misunderestimate Dubya again....

I read it only for amusement now and don't spread the info to anybody else....sort of guilty pleasure reading...

22. Doug started out as a chimp SUPPORTER
He was all gung-ho when the Supremes stole the election from Al. He has done a complete about face in the intervening years.

As I noted above, Doug used to be a staffer on the Hill (during the Reagan years, I believe). He has sources, and a lot of them have been around for 20+ years. Here's his bio http://www.capitolhillblue.com/dtbio.asp

He didn't just fall off the turnip truck, he's been reporting for years, and started out doing mainstream stuff.

11. I believe it....the pattern was there for all to see years ago.
We all suspected the guy was a few quarts low and reports of this nature somewhat confirms it...

It will prolly escalate soon enough as Cindy is clearly under his skin

Especially now that she has returned...

15. Even if this story is only partially true, imagine the reaction a similar
Clinton story would have gotten in the MSM. We would have had wall to wall aghast pundits, 24/7, decrying the degrading of the White House. David Broder, Tweety, Fat Tim, Mrs Greenspan, all would have called for his removal, on moral grounds.
Ah, the good old days, when nobody died when a President lied.

18. Actually CHB *was* writing similar stories about Clinton
Same formula, as described above. Presidents are always going off the deep end, according to this publication, and the White House is always packed with unnamed sources spilling all to Capitol Hill Blue and no one else. It's non-partisan about that.

24. remember how Rove used Thompson?
When the Wilson story was breaking, there was a dustup with Capitol Hill Blue. Rove used Thompson to muddy the water. It was a real fiasco, and Doug got burned. Google Doug Thompson and Wilkinson and see what you get.

27. Arrogance is a Major Sign of Incompetance, Delusion, and Immaturity
Anger is even worse...the inability ti think Solutions by himself...unable to celebrally analyze, solve, comprehende, etc he shows anger.

In Anger Management 304.007 we learn of the person who cannot control anger, the signs to look for, and how to deal with said individuals...

Bush is hopeless to most therapists as his is a very complicated case with a multiple areas of concern.

But that is another thread....

The single aspect President...mind set and rigidity are signs of a Stupid Person....they comp themselve with only half the answers....

Together we stand...divided we waste our opportunites and fail...

28. I have been watching Bush these years and have noticed his
anger building and building!!! He has supreme power and as a result he does believe he can do ANYTHING without repercussions or concequences!!! Wilson said it accountability !!! Bush has none!!!

Total power corrupts totally!!! OOOO

But its like Merlin said to Luther Pendragon when he complained all hell broke lose and why???

Merlin goes You stole a man's wife you betrayed the treaty ... Now noone trust you!!!

Losing Trust is the downfall of Bush!!! as it was for Luther!!!
