2. I talked to a guy today who said everyone in his company had gotten out
except three. Officer promotions are very easy these days, but the CAPTs coming in don't have leadership skills. Since they are bucking for that fast track promotion, they are pushing the enlisted too hard at an already stressful time, and morale is very low. So, goodbye Army.

Amazing that the Army Secretary said that the boots on the ground didn't care that they were making so much less than contractors, that to protect the nation was in itself reward enough. The numbers separating from the Army don't bear that out.

3. BLUE TO GREEN PROGRAM
It allows substandard Sailors and Officers in the Navy who would not be allowed to stay in the sea service to transfer to the Army with the same paygrade and no loss of time served. Great idea huh?
