3. Obi Wan Murtha will reappear as events dictate.

I like adding new characters to the mix. This character was suggested by my cartoonist partner who does the drawing. He had an idea that involved Obi Wan Murtha, and so I wrote something to introduce him.

The Bear will return Wednesday and Friday.

Every new thing we do adds to our inventory of ready drawings to use, which helps. We have some new characters we will be debuting the next week or so.

Friday we have one coming up about vegans and Kucinich supporters.

Next week, I'm taking on Democratic intraparty issues. I will discuss some of the conflicts within the Dem party, particularly the DLC and those who loathe the DLC.

I don't let the DLC off the hook, but I also see them as a necessary part of the big tent coalition, fat cats and all. I'll take some shots at them that every progressive here will like, but I may take some shots at those who dislike them, too.

I am appalled that so many Dems spend so much time and energy hating on other Dems. The only ones I hate are the faux Dems who don't show up on election day, or bail out as soon as their candidate loses. Left or right of me, if someone flakes at election time and doesn't support the party nominee, they're dead to me!
