CBS to feature The New Republic and The Weekly Standard
as "opposing" points of view. http://www.mediawhoresonline.com/

Huh? Are there any two magazines in the world that are more decidedly the same neo-conservative viewpoint? 20 years ago TNR was a slightly left of center magazine, but it has been at least 15 years since it has gone further and further to the right. This is a preposterous claim. Butterscotch lifesavers indeed.

2. Are you high?
Dude, if you think TNR is "neo-conservative" you're dilusional. Agreed, they don't always agree with the left, and they did initially support the war, but neo-con? I don't think so.

4. Like I said
TNR and "the left" will often find themselves at odds, but neo-con like the weekly standard? Nope.

7. I'll take your word for it, I haven't been a subscriber
for 15 or more years and only occasionally read it, but I didn't renew and don't read it all the way through because everytime I pick it up it is uniformly conservative. Yeah, the authors will jabber about having been a liberal back in the day, but they sure aren't anymore.

6. Bull. TNR has backed many PNAC positions. It's not so much that
they support Republican ideoology, but they support Israel's positions big time. Israel wanted war in Iraq. They want war in Syria. They support PNAC neocons almost 100%. Look closely at TNR's positions, and you will see they align with what Sharon and his Likudniks want. There are a lot of Dems in Congress just like TNR too.
