1. Are Democrats really cowards? |
|
Are Democrats really cowardly victims? Yes and no. Like witnessing a mafia killing, Democrats will probably report it but may be in fear of testifying.
However no one says murdering thieves are cowards, except for prosecutors. It takes guts to criminally stay the course.
In fact criminals are counting on victims not fighting back, which is one reason for such poor post war plans for Iraq.
Some killers even relish thier victims begging for their lives before they pull the trigger and laugh at the cowards as they watch them die.
We have all seen Bush and Rumsfeld in celebration mode.
Shocking and awing as it is, it makes for riveting entertainment lke watching the Sopranos. No matter how ruthless and evil Tony can be, we know he is just taking care of his own. With a vicarious thrill we virtually forgive them of their crimes and wait to see the next episode.
In the ruthless Trillion dollar petro war games of the radical corporate right, they will not hesitate to kill their own and then turn around and martyr their fallen brother with a crack down on conveinient appointed enemies that they will blame for the crime.
So with mixed feeling I wish George well. For if he is ever martyred the next boss and subsequent crack down could only be worse.
In America it often seems that more people will root for the Sopranos than the prosecutor.
