Wow! Has anyone read the editorial that Lou Dobbs posted on CNN?! I was actually impressed! If you haven't read it yet, please do so. Here is the link: http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/05/23/dobbs.may24/index.html

1. the last sentence really drives the point home

"And a third-world country is what we will be if our elected officials don't soon come to their senses."

5. What a great article, I was especially struck by this line..........
...."...a third-world country is what we will be if our elected officials don't soon come to their senses."

:grr: Why is it that Lou Dobbs gets it but the WH Idiot, his handlers, and the neocon/fundie controlled Congress doesn't?? :banghead: :spank:

6. Neither side gets this one.
The Dems should have come out for a strong immigration policy under the auspices of protecting the lower wage Americans. You know, the ones that used to make up the base of the party.

That would be a major step in getting the NASCAR crowd back to voting democrat.

8. Democrats vote for full amnesty
Thirty-seven Democrats vote for full amnesty for all illegal aliens in this country, even though nobody really knows whether the number is 11 million, 12 million or 20 million.

WHY????????????????

9. Cheap labor, when the next 20 million cross the border. No wait, that's
why the pukes want illegals here, slave labor.
