Condi Rice: "Nothing has changed."
These people could give lessons to Jon Lovitz.

''The Bush administration's apparent about-turn on the political process coincided with the single deadliest blow to coalition forces, with 18 Italians killed in Wednesday's suicide bombing in Nasiriya.

But senior officials have sought to dispel a growing sense of crisis. "Nothing has changed," declared Condoleezza Rice, the president's national security adviser.

...

Mr Bremer's "seven steps to sovereignty", whereby Iraq would regain its independence after writing a new constitution and holding elections, a process that could have taken two or three years, became bogged down at step three. It has now been stood on its head.

Two months ago, when the US sought support for a UN resolution mandating an international force, Ms Rice rejected as "unworkable" calls by France, Germany and Russia for an early transfer of sovereignty to an interim Iraqi administration.
''

Move along, move along, nothing to see here ...

1. Condescending Rice
Nothing but an armchair, computer pecker who has about as much real world experience when it comes to war as evey other fat Freeper sitting at home pecking on their computer keyboards. NO MILITARY SERVICE! When it comes to national security, I'll keep the counsel of people like Wesley Clark, John Kerry and Max Cleland.
