Senator Hillary Clinton: All Show and No Substance

Recent surveys measuring public opinion and confidence in congress all arrived at the same conclusion: over seventy percent of Americans have lost faith and confidence in the United States Congress. The public no longer trusts this body of politicians who were elected to represent the people and the peoples’ interests. Instead, they now view these “representatives” as servants of special interest groups, corporations and high-powered lobbyists. Americans are tired of watching and listening to elected officials who refrain from taking a strong stand on crucial issues, and who almost never state their positions with conviction and sincerity. In the eyes of the nation these senators and representatives are nothing more than programmed publicity puppets, competing for face time in the media. Common adjectives used by our citizens to describe these officials clearly reflect their sentiments: “spineless,” “phony,” “corrupt,” “out of touch,” “timid,” “all show and no substance,” and the list goes on. Why have we Americans lost confidence and faith in those elected? Where and when did we go wrong; or perhaps more correctly, they go wrong? What have these representatives done, or, failed to do, that arouses such anger and loathing in the very same constituents who voted them into office?

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton is a perfect example; an elected senator who has served six years in her seat, never taking a strong stand in support of her constituents on any serious or controversial issue; a senator who has used her record-breaking TV public appearances to say “nothing”; a senator whose senate office adheres strictly to a motto of “See no Evil, Hear no Evil”; an elected official who has no record of conducting investigations into cases that are matters of great concern to her constituents and to our nation; a senator who has consistently stood quietly on the sidelines when the issues at hand demand public hearings –waiting to determine the direction of each blowing wind; a politician who has spent all her focus and energy on a campaign of shallow publicity glitz and her PR empire behind it. Here are some documented illustrative examples:

... in the Senate - mostly from the big-money types, i.e., the Predator Class.

I'm sure that they are giving her all of this loot in order to further her protection of the Middle Class - you know, like she did when she was a Director of Wal-Mart for six years...

8. Is Mrs. Clinton running as a Democrat or a Republican?

Or, is she holding off on making a commitment on THAT too?

9. Tasini vs Hillary In NY Dem Senate Race - 2 Weeks to Go!!!
I am voting for Jonathan Tasini September 12th in the New York State Democratic Primary's.

As I have posted on several other threads this evening....

I am a Lifelong New York City Resident.

I cannot think of 1 thing Hillary has done for New York since her election, not one!

If you go to http://www.TasiniForNewYork.org and go to 'issues', I am supportive of most of his agenda.

I strongly agree with his stance on Corporations abandoning the United States and making new homes in Communist China.

CNN's Paul Begala LIED - BLATANTLY LIED 2 weeks ago in the wake of the Ned Lamont Victory saying 'Hillary doesn't have a Democratic Challenger running against her in the NY Primary'

CNN is owned I believe by Time Warner.

Time Warner owns NY1.com / NY1 Cable News which has CENCORED JONATHAN TASINI. -----

Connect the dots everyone.

Oh, by the way... Tasini handed in over 40,000 signatures on his petitions to get on the NY Democratic Ballot to challenge Hillary.

My local Democratic Club which meets once a month now has more regulars that are going to vote for Tasini over Hillary.

Tasini is most likely going to get well over 100,000 votes on September 12th, and that is as of now without any media buzz whatsoever.

http://www.TasiniforNewYork.org

Main reason why I am voting for Tasini: Because I think all senators who voted for this blank check war in Iraq are not worthy of re-election.

Vote the Bums Out!

13. Now that I'm a New Yorker again...
I would love to see both of those holes out on their asses.

Hilary carpetbagged her way into a plush job as the next step to greater glory, and Chuck is a windbag who creates shitstorms and sits back to watch the fun.

She gets huge bags of money, though, and that might justify her exitence if she actually did her job.

Anyway, given the choice, I guess I'd rather see either of them than the usual Republican carpetbaggers who show up, but why does New York, which has had Javits and Moynihan, insist on making up for it with twits like these two Democratic D'Amatos?

19. New Yorkers I know feel the same way about Hillary
As North Carolina Democrats often felt about Edwards. Out of touch, rude staff, bigger than the voters and not really interested in thier own state. That kind of image among your locals can really come back to bite you. (Just ask Lieberman)
